Shani Coleman is a native Georgian, having grown up in Riverdale, GA. Her goal in the Call Center is to gain more knowledge about healthcare administration and slowly transition into that field, hopefully at Emory. Prior to working in the Call Center, she held a position in the Graduate Office at Georgia State University, from which she brings a wealth of customer service experience and a familiarity with the needs of higher education.
Shani has a BA in Speech Communication, with a minor in Psychology from Georgia State University and also possesses a certification in Medical Billing & Coding from Clayton State. Her hobbies include tennis, puzzles, outdoor activites, and traveling when she can.

Maletha Jordan brings true professionalism to her new role.
Maletha Jordan comes to OIT to become a part of the Call Center communication team. She brings extensive experiences in customer services as well as a positive attitude and powerful communicative presence. Prior to coming to Emory, Maletha worked as a National Helpline specialist with Bank of America. If Maletha can handle the stress of dealing with irate banking customers, she can handle anything!
Originally from Plainfield, NJ (birthplace of George Clinton), Maletha moved to Richmond, VA then followed her sister to Atlanta. She's been in Atlanta for six years and she loves it! Her hobbies include bowling, poetry and fiction writing, watching movies, and enjoying family time.

Kaven Moodley has hit the ground running in Dana Haggas' group.
Kaven was born in South Africa and immigrated to the United States 15 years ago when he was recruited to work as a PeopleSoft consultant at a San Francisco-based company. He has a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Mathematics and Physics. Kaven has over 17 years of PeopleSoft Human Capital Management experience, with his last role being that of ERP Production Operations Manager at Cox Communications.
Kaven has been married for 14 years and he and his wife have a very entertaining 9-year-old son. Kaven enjoys golf, biking, family time and takes a keen interest in local and sustainable food and gardening.

Tabatha Pirtle is one of the fresh new faces at the Call Center.
As a military child, Tabatha Pirtle lived in West Germany and Japan. However, when asked the question "Where are you from," she usually says Georgia because she's lived here for 21 years. Prior to working at Emory she was at the Zurich Financial Services Group. Tabatha has a Masters of Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University (Go Chippewas!), which helps her navigate the rigors of supporting Emory Hospital in the Call Center.
She is presently studying for the GRE to apply to the Rollins School of Public Health in 2013. Her hobbies include volunteering, traveling, reading and exploring new cultures.

Sandra Smith is engaged to be married later this year!
A native Atlantan, Sandra began her career at Emory in August, 1999, where she worked on the Peoplesoft Student Administration team as an Applications Developer. Shortly afterwards, Sandra accepted the responsibility of managing changes (migrations) along with development work until she moved to the PS Administration group in September, 2011. Prior to this move she had taken courses in PS Server Administration, PS Data Management and Upgrade, PS Security, ITIL Release Control and Validation, and Oracle tuning. Her primary responsibility continues to be the migration of changes and the installation of bundles in the development and production environments of all of the PS systems (Campus Solutions, HR, Financials and ELM).
Sandra has a BS in Mathematics and an MAT in Math Education from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and an MS in Theoretical Statistics from George Washington University. She is single (but only for four more months) and has an adult daughter (Dafina) who works as a Mechanical Engineer with the Department of the Navy in Washington, D.C. Both she and her daughter enjoy running, have run many marathons, half marathons, 10K and 15K runs and will be running their second Rock & Roll Half Marathon in San Antonio this month.

Ashley Teal brings a wealth of experience to R&HS.
Ashley has been with Emory for the last 4 years, but she just joined R&HS in August. She previously worked as the Business Manager for the Emory-Georgia Tech Predictive Health Institute's Center for Health Discovery and Well Being. At the Center, Ashley managed front-end operations and assisted with financial management. Ashley also contributed to the development of a uniquely designed web portal that the Center used for data entry, data management, and reporting.
After working with R&HS staff, Ashley accepted the position of Business Manager for R&HS. As Business Manager, Ashley oversees service center operations related to monthly billing. She assists with marketing, business development activities, and various projects for the service center.
Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast News and Sociology from the University of Georgia. She is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at Georgia State University.
Ashley is a native Georgian, and she loves spending time with her family. She lives in Sharpsburg with her husband. They have two young boys: Jackson (4 years) and Daniel Paul (18 months). She loves watching college football and movies!
